18 Years of Learning and Growing with Hutchinson

Corey Rice was born in Grayling, Michigan and has worked at Hutchinson Aerospace and Industry for 18 years. He started as a quality sorter and advanced over a series of steppingstones through the years to reach his current position as a planner/scheduler in the Ithaca, Michigan plant.
“Working at Hutchinson Aerospace has helped me grow,” says Corey. “The company encouraged me to further my education, and I have earned my master’s certificate for Supply Chain and Operations.”
“I learn something new every day. My mentors at Hutchinson Aerospace have inspired me to progress,” Corey says. “Being involved with new product launches and seeing the company grow has been very exciting. I like watching growth; I like to learn, and I like to see other people learn.”
Corey has been married for 13 years, has two children, one grandchild and another grandchild on the way. He enjoys spending time with his family and has a great passion for the outdoors.
“I enjoy working at Hutchinson Aerospace for the opportunities and growth it has given me. I love to learn and enjoy the people in the Ithaca, Michigan and Hopkinton, Massachusetts plants.”
